I have been a financial professional at Equitable since October 2022. I'm passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, and work to understand my clients’ unique financial goals before developing customized strategies to achieve these goals.
As part of Equitable’s Retirement Benefits Group, I work primarily with educators and their families. I collaborate with a team of senior advisors including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals, Retirement Planning Specialists, and experienced life insurance professionals to best meet clients’ needs in wealth accumulation, retirement planning, tax reduction strategies, and family protection. I currently maintain the following licenses/certifications: FINRA Series 6 & 7, SIE, NASAA Series 63, Health, Life and Variable Lines in Maryland and several other states.
Prior to my position with Equitable, I was a high school teacher for 12 years in Howard County, MD. I understand the unique challenges and opportunities many school-system employees face and am committed to supporting this community of leaders with their financial goals.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature as well as a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Maryland – College Park. While in school, I also studied Business and Finance through the Robert H. Smith School of Business and was a member of the College Park Scholars Program – Public Leadership.
Currently, I reside in Baltimore City and enjoy exploring local breweries, hiking National Parks, visiting countries around the world, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
